There are a lot of people out there who are trying to do all they can for their pets and this means that a lot of people are ready to spend money for purchasing medications for their little pets. For this reason here are also online vet pharmacies and by doing the research for reliable pharmacies I have found another vet pharmacy online named Vetdepot.com and that’s the pharmacy I’m going to review today as regardless if you purchase medications for yourself or for your little pet friend, I doubt that you want to lose money by getting scammed around. According to the information on their website, the pharmacy claims to save money by using their services and you can give your pet the best medications, again, by using their services. At least that’s what I could read on their logo when I have accessed their front page. I have seen a user friendly interface of the site which is important to my opinion and I have also noticed this pharmacy is offering their customers to register on the website and to login to their accounts when they need. Also I have noticed this online pharmacy claims to be .pharmacy- verified website and a legitscirpt.com approved online pharmacy either. I have then checked this on official websites and it does seems to be true. And although that’s very good, there are still other things to check. The pharmacy claims to be having social media pages as you can follow their activity on Facebook, Twitter and others as well. according to the information I found, this pharmacy is located in Escondido, CA, USA but I could not find information suggesting for how long this online pharmacy has been operating. There’s also an about us page but it mostly seems as if this is a FAQ page.

Since this is a veterinary pharmacy I doubt that you would find any medications for humans, nevertheless, their selection of pet medications is very wide, there’s an extremely big range of medications for pets, especially for dogs, cats and horses (as they are having their own categories of drugs) but there are also drugs for other pets either. There are pet supplies, brands, manufacturers and prescriptions as well. since their prescription drugs are categorized I can assume that they do require a valid prescription for ordering drugs here (and legitscript.com approves pharmacies that require prescription for such drugs). The pharmacy claims that they are selling exclusively only medications approved by USA EPA and FDA. You can also shop for medications for pets by categories: diabetes care, ear care, eye care, dental care, deworming, arthritis, antibiotics etc. with this being said, they have a wide selection of drugs and also, they claims that you can *find all your favorite pet meds* here either. Simply to give example of prices I’ve taken a random product and I can say that ElimiDerm Cream Topical for Dogs and Cats, 0.75 oz Tube would cost you 18.66 USD and they claim that retail price is 25.99 USD but I am not very sure if that’s true or not.

According to the information that I have managed to find on their online pharmacy’s website, this pharmacy does not offer shipping outside the USA and they are offering shipping only to 48 out of 50 states of USA (I can assume they do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii). They claim that all Rx medications have a free shipping and also, free shipping is offered to orders over 45 USD. However there’s no information how much it costs shipping for orders under 45 USD. There’s also no info about what’s the delivery times etc. This pharmacy is claiming to accept: American express, discover, visa and master card as credit cards and they also accept PayPal.

There’s a phone number on their website suggesting that you can call them and ask questions in case you have some. However make sure that you would call them in their working hours. Plus to that, I can assume that you can contact them via mailing or maybe even paying a visit to their headquarter. I assume that talking with them with the help of social media pages is also possible.

As I have previously mentioned, this online pharmacy is offering free shipping on all prescription medications and an on all other products that exceed the amount of 45 USD per order. Except for free shipping, this online pharmacy claims that they are offering prices less compared to retail prices (but either is that true or not I cannot confirm) and lastly, this pharmacy does seem to offer coupon codes: not sure if this applies to all products but I’ve seen many products having an offering by using the coupon: Pet15 you get a discount (seemingly of 15 %).

Although this online pharmacy seems to be legitscript.com approved website and also a BBB approved business, the customer reviews are not as good as I expected. Although there are, of course, good customer reviews, there are negative ones as well and there’s a lot of them. the best rate it has is 4 out of 5 according to trustpilot.com, however on resellerratings.com it has a rate of 1 out of 10! On BBB there are 2 complains and on sitejabber.com a rate of 3 out of 5 with some positive but many negative reviews as well. although many people said this pharmacy is very good, others said other things such as: price up 30% over competitors, old products, near expiration, poor customer service; poor delivery service and others. That’s all not encouraging at all.
Conclusion
This veterinary pharmacy seems to be popular online as many people seemed to have used their service, plus it is approved by legitscript.com and BBB and generally seems to have a high trust. Plus there are good positive reviews. This is all in favor of the pharmacy. but the big amount of negative customer review suggest that the pharmacy still has a lot of flaws to work on and that’s why I rate this pharmacy with 3 out of 5.
